Finding the best opportunities where your art is a good fit with other art being exhibited while considering local demographics, economics, etc. Over several years, I have developed my own unique style while testing the limits of design and my own creativity. There are so many great artists these days creating beautiful work. Surprisingly, I never felt scared or like what I was doing was dangerous because she prepared us so well. My hope is my art connects with people in a meaningful way. My grandmother, gone 20+ years left a legacy of love, family and connection. I created Same Moon Creations as a tribute to my only grandmother who told me many years ago to remember we would always be connected because we looked on the same moon at night. I strive to develop unique and one of a kind sculptures with texture while creating depth and interest. I have often created water-inspired art with copper and turquoise patinas. I have a love for the natural beauty of Arizona and its special resources such as copper, turquoise and water. I am primarily a metal and mixed media artist. The journey has not as always been easy but creating art has allowed me to connect and interact with people in ways I wouldn’t have otherwise.Ĭan you give our readers some background on your art? I left a very critical but political industry and began creating metal art from salvaged materials. Once wide-open doors were closing, and new opportunities through art were developing.
